Bio
Hello, my name is Sharon Sasser, and I was born in Auburn, Alabama on August 17. I was raised in the surrounding community and attended Kinston High School. I graduated in 1983 and went on to Troy State University. In 1987, I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, and in 2008 I completed my Master's Degree at Troy University main campus.
I began my teaching career in third grade in the Georgia Public School System. During that time, I married Allen Sasser and had two children, Blake and Emily. After moving back to my hometown of Opp, I was offered a teaching position in the Coffee County School System where I've been since 1995. During the course of my teaching career at Zion Chapel, I've taught fourth, fifth and sixth grades. I am currently teaching my 34th year! I'm looking forward to teaching fourth grade science and Alabama History this year.
I have enjoyed my years at Zion Chapel and I'm excited about the upcoming school year.
