I have called Coffee County home all of my life.  I grew up in New Brockton, attended New Brockton Elementary School, and am a graduate of New Brockton High School.  After high school, I went on to earn a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Troy University.  I began my career as a teacher at New Brockton Elementary School.  I taught there for 9 years.  During my time as a teacher, I also began working on my Master's of Science Degree in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama.  I came to work for Zion Chapel School as a School Counselor in 2019.  I consider it an honor to work in a capacity where I have the opportunity to help mold and positively impact the lives of young children on a daily basis.  

There are a lot of wonderful things to be said about this small and loving community in Coffee County, AL.  Living in a small town, I can tell you first hand the difference a loving and caring teacher made in the life of this girl.  My elementary school teachers impacted me in a way that has proven to be everlasting.  They not only taught me the basics of education, but instilled in me a passion for learning and caring for others, supported me through the difficult circumstances sometimes given to us in life, and guided me in becoming an individual with integrity, compassion, and perseverance. The teachers and staff members at Zion Chapel School reflect those same characteristics that helped to mold me into the successful woman I am today.  I am so thankful and blessed to be part of this wonderful team of educators. I proudly say GO REBELS!  "The influence of a good teacher can never be erased."

My husband, Zach, and I have two beautiful children.  Our son, Austin, is in the 2nd grade at Zion Chapel School, and we have a 3 year old daughter, Lily Kate. We attend High Pointe Church in Enterprise, AL.  In our free time, we enjoy spending family time together, vacationing at the beach, and during football season, cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide... ROLL TIDE!
