Good Morning Students

Believe it or not...we have only 8 more days remaining in this school year! And Seniors only have 1 days remaining! That being said, need to buckle down, work hard every minute of every class period and try to improve your averages and learn as much as you can. We don't have time for foolishness or students misbehaving...every one has too much to at this point of the year to deal with students who misbehave. Make sure that you are where you are supposed to be, doing what you are supposed to be doing at all times!!!

Also…at break students…you are to report to your assigned areas to be supervised. YOU ARE NOT to hang out in a teacher’s room during break. Teachers, please ensure help us out with this.

Also…if you have been assigned break detention, be sure that you do to break detention!

There is a meeting in the bandroom immediately following announcements for Field Day kickball captains.

Jr. High and High School students,…please remember as the year is winding down to pay your remaining balance in the lunchroom. Students who do not settle their remaining balance will not be in “Good Standing.” Students who are not in good standing are not allowed to participate in any extracurricular activities or events…this includes summer workouts for athletics. That being said…take care of your lunchroom balance.

Students, all library books are now overdue to the library. If you still have library books out, see Mrs. McCrory to return them or to pay for them. High School students, if your library books are not returned by Wednesday, you will be assigned to break detention every day until they are returned. The library will be open at break and 5th -7th periods for you to return them.

We want to congratulate Coach McNaughton on the birth of his child yesterday.

The Summer Driver’s Ed Class that many of you have signed up for will be May 29th – June 4th from 8 AM until 2 PM.

Students…Be sure that you are in compliance with the dress code at all times! Gentlemen…your shirts are to be tucked in at all times! SENIORS…THIS APPLIES TO YOU AS WELL!!! Young ladies…be sure that shirts over tights are fingertip length!   Teachers…please help us monitor this and correct any issues that may arise with this. Also…assign the young men break detention when you see them with their shirts untucked!

Students…remember that cell phones are to be kept in your lockers during the entirety of the school day! We will be having random cell phone checks on a regular basis this semester!

Softball Tryouts will be the week of May 21st. J.V. tryouts will be the 21st and 22nd and Varsity tryouts will be the 23rd and 24th. There is a signup sheet outside Coach Boswell’s door. You must have a current physical on file in the office in order to try out.

There is a sign up sheet in the office for anyone interested in trying out. Please remember that you MUST have a current physical on file in the office in order to try out!
