I hope that everyone had a safe and relaxing four day weekend and are ready to roll into the last three days of this week!

Student drivers are NOT allowed to park behind the gym. Students are only allowed to park in their designated spaces. If you are found in violation, you will lose driving privileges.

If you want to purchase a 2017 Zion Chapel Athletic Club Football T-Shirt, you can pick up an order form at the front office.

BUS RIDERS…The buses pull out of the parking lot at 3:06. That gives you 5 minutes to go to your lockers, get your stuff, and get on the bus. If you are not on the bus by 3:06…you will not be allowed to get on!

Due to being out on Monday and Tuesday, PROGRESS REPORTS will go out on Friday, September 15th! This will give the teachers a little more time to get their grades in order.

The Volleyball Team will travel to Goshen on Thursday. Games begin at 4:15.

The Cross Country Team will compete in the Bobcat Invitational in Opp on Thursday.

The Varsity Football Team will travel to New Brockton on Friday. Kick off will be at 7:00 pm

Friday is also “Future Career Day.”

The Miss Jack Day Pageant will be held on September 17th. You may pick up entry forms in the front office.

Jack Day is scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd.

Altrusa is hosting a kiss the pig campaign beginning today and running until Jack Day on September 23rd. The candidate with the most monetary donations given in their name will have to “Kiss a Pig” on Jack Day. The three candidates are Mr. Kim Ellis (Coffee County District 2 Commissioner), Mr. Brian McLeod (Coffee County School Board President), and of course, Dr. Vohn Enloe (Principal).   Who do you want to see “Kiss a Pig?”

For the first time ever, Altrusa of Jack is sponsoring a Pecan Bake Off at the Jack Day Community Festival. If you are interested in competing in this, please stop by the office and pick up an informational brochure.

Students…remember that NO STUDENT IS TO GO TO THE PARKING LOT TO THEIR VEHICLE without permission from the office!

Work hard and have a great day!
