We are very proud of our “Running Rebels.” The Cross Country Team competed in the Dothan Tiger Classic yesterday evening and represented Zion Chapel very well. They finished well ahead of their 1A and 2A Sectional Competitors! We are very proud of them and are looking forward to great things with our Cross Country Team!

Student drivers are NOT allowed to park behind the gym. Students are only allowed to park in their designated spaces. If you are found in violation, you will lose driving privileges.

Today we are on Pep Rally schedule.

We are very proud of our Band and Cheerleaders; they have once again won Band and Cheerleaders of the week with Hometown Lenders. A representative from Hometown Lenders will be on campus this afternoon to present them with a trophy at our pep rally!

If you want to purchase a 2017 Zion Chapel Athletic Club Football T-Shirt, you can pick up an order form at the front office.

BUS RIDERS…The buses pull out of the parking lot at 3:06. That gives you 5 minutes to go to your lockers, get your stuff, and get on the bus. If you are not on the bus by 3:06…you will not be allowed to get on!

Congratulations to the Volleyball Teams for their victories over Luverne last night. All three teams won! We are very proud of our Lady Rebels!

PROGRESS REPORTS go out next Thursday, September 14th!

The Varsity Football Team will host Central Hayneville this evening. Kick off will be at 7:00 pm

The Volleyball Team will compete in the Kinston Tournament on Saturday!

Varsity cheerleaders will be cheering at the pre game of the Troy University game on Saturday.

The Miss Jack Day Pageant will be held on September 17th. You may pick up entry forms in the front office.

Jack Day is scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd.

Altrusa is hosting a kiss the pig campaign beginning today and running until Jack Day on September 23rd. The candidate with the most monetary donations given in their name will have to “Kiss a Pig” on Jack Day. The three candidates are Mr. Kim Ellis (Coffee County District 2 Commissioner), Mr. Brian McLeod (Coffee County School Board President), and of course, Dr. Vohn Enloe (Principal).   Who do you want to see “Kiss a Pig?”

For the first time ever, Altrusa of Jack is sponsoring a Pecan Bake Off at the Jack Day Community Festival. If you are interested in competing in this, please stop by the office and pick up an informational brochure.

Students…remember that NO STUDENT IS TO GO TO THE PARKING LOT TO THEIR VEHICLE without permission from the office!

Any student interested in a part- time job at the Coffee County Board of Education under the Co-op Program for this school year needs to stop by the office and pick up an application by the end of the week. This job will include cutting grass and general lawn maintenance at the Central Office.

Work hard and have a great day!
