ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Today we are on activity bell schedule and will meet with our REACH groups immediately after 1st period.

We are very proud of our Band and Cheerleaders; they have once again won Band and Cheerleaders of the week with Hometown Lenders. A representative from Hometown Lenders will be on campus on Friday to present them with a trophy at our pep rally!

A pepsi fundraiser is being sponsored by the SGA now through Friday, September 8th. Each student is encouraged to sell at least 3 cases of sodas or Gatorade to help purchase new sound equipment for the football stadium. This will benefit youth and high school sports, graduation, school activities, and assemblies

If you want to purchase a 2017 Zion Chapel Athletic Club Football T-Shirt, you can pick up an order form at the front office.

BUS RIDERS…The buses pull out of the parking lot at 3:06. That gives you 5 minutes to go to your lockers, get your stuff, and get on the bus. If you are not on the bus by 3:06…you will not be allowed to get on!

School pictures and senior remakes will be on Thursday, September 7th in the auditorium. Any senior that did not have a drape/tux picture made this summer is REQUIRED to have his/her picture made on that day.

The Volleyball Team will host Luverne on Thursday evening. Games begin at 4:15 pm.

(Students…remember that if you attend the volleyball game…that you are to enter and exit the front doors of the gym only!)

 

The Cross Country Team travels to Dothan to compete in the Tiger Classic on Thursday!

The Varsity Football Team will host Central Hayneville on Friday. Kick off will be at 7:00 pm

Friday is USA Day! Tattoos and ribbons and medals will be sold for $1.00.

The Volleyball Team will compete in the Kinston Tournament on Saturday!

Varsity cheerleaders will be cheering at the pre game of the Troy University game on Saturday, please come and support our girls.

The Miss Jack Day Pageant will be held on September 17th. You may pick up entry forms in the front office.

Jack Day is scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd.

Altrusa is hosting a kiss the pig campaign beginning today and running until Jack Day on September 23rd. The candidate with the most monetary donations given in their name will have to “Kiss a Pig” on Jack Day. The three candidates are Mr. Kim Ellis (Coffee County District 2 Commissioner), Mr. Brian McLeod (Coffee County School Board President), and of course, Dr. Vohn Enloe (Principal).   Who do you want to see “Kiss a Pig?”

For the first time ever, Altrusa of Jack is sponsoring a Pecan Bake Off at the Jack Day Community Festival. If you are interested in competing in this, please stop by the office and pick up an informational brochure.

Students…remember that NO STUDENT IS TO GO TO THE PARKING LOT TO THEIR VEHICLE without permission from the office!

Any student interested in a part- time job at the Coffee County Board of Education under the Co-op Program for this school year needs to stop by the office and pick up an application by the end of the week. This job will include cutting grass and general lawn maintenance at the Central Office.
